Summary: Radical AU. An alternate world without a federation. Nyota Uhura is a scary BAMF with an even more terrifying matched set of hunting hounds on her leash.
Warnings: Slavery, non-con, d/s without the safeguards.

The barely legal Kirk in that universe looks like this. Apply scars as needed.

2. st_au_drifters (Kirk/Spock, AU WIP, 7/?, R so far)
st_xi_kink prompt: Post apocalypse, mirror world. Featuring pirate/bandit/bounty hunter with dubious morals Kirk and serene/beautiful/cruel bottom!Spock who kills with his brain. 1. This is the picture that, two months back, I was sketching and thinking, "You know who's skinny? Merlin!"
I want a modern-day!AU where Merlin's an underwear/swimsuit model and Arthur's a photographer, and it's for a borderline soft pr0n magazine. And Arthur's giving Merlin half-breathy directions, and Merlin's getting turned on and his eyes gleamed gold.
Whoops, didn't mean to go the anthropomorphic dragon route there.

2. Why is it that I'm so much more shameless when it comes to Merlin/Arthur pr0n? It's not that the fandom's kinkier than HP. Is there even a kinkier fandom than HP?
Not to mention completely shameless about Bradley/Colin too. Huh.

3. I think I've pinpointed why I'm uninterested with Merlin RP games. Merlin, Arthur, Morgana, Gwen...they're all main characters. In HP, I can RP as obscure characters (Padma, Terry, Al, Scorpius), only-exist-in-notes characters (Su Li), my own OFC (Jade Malfoy)...even Draco's not a main character in canon except for HBP.

With Merlin, I can't help but be more judgmental and going "OoC! OoC!" when an RP-er's interpretation of the character significantly differs from mine.

CAVEAT: The site does have some mistranslated words. So double-check your dictionary when something doesn't seem right.

This language site is teh AWESOMEST =DDD

The site has a series of flash tutorials where a native speaker repeat phrases and words that you hear in everyday conversations. It's v. v. repetitive, which is v. helpful for language retention *g*

For English speakers there are:
- Mandarin Chinese
- Japanese

- Italian
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Spanish
- Russian
- Pig Latin

The site also has English for Spanish speakers and "Angielski dla Polski rozmowcow" -- uh, English for Polish speakers I think.

The Mandarin Chinese option has 100 lessons, each with 100+ slides. If you roll your mouse over the characters they include the pinyin \o/ Yay for accent/pronunciation correction! \o/
(P.S. The native speakers' accent sounds North but not the uber-harsh Beijing accent, so it's not aggravating.)
I've gone through two lessons in the last 90-120 minutes and forgot to eat breakfast lol.
