Pansy couldn't help it; she broke into giggles over Draco's flabbergasted expression.

Under Draco's reproachful glare, she finally got herself together and asked, "Who are you talking about, and how did you find out this fascinating information?"

He tried to fake nonchalance, but the blush across his cheekbones was unmistakable. "It’s that quiet Ravenclaw Fifth Year who smiles a lot. We were walking past the rose garden, and this vine came out of nowhere and tripped me—"

In other news, even though Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) is a cheap, loli-shota knock-off of Kaori Yuki's Count Cain, I did enjoy the Bengali Prince arc, because no manga is complete without SURPRIZE appearance of South Asian/Middle Eastern/teeny European Kingdom royalty.

Also, can't help but be amused by the American chef (An American chef in a British household? lololol).

Okay, I lie, my fav. character is still the Bengali prince's servant.

“Mine!”

“Draco, Pansy’s your guest,” Narcissa said. “You should be gracious to guests.”

The six-year-old scrunched up his face at the mangled carrots on his plate.

Next to him, James spooned carrots into his mouth with an exaggerated blissful expression. He then turned large, I'm-such-a-good-son, hazel eyes to his mother.

Albus set down his fork, the corners of his mouth turned down.

"These are from Grandma's garden."

"...yes?"

"I saw her dig out the carrots, roots and all. It's not right!"

Harry thought he'd regret asking, but--"Why is it not right?"

"Well without their roots they’re going to die! We're killing helpless plants just to put them on our plates!"

Next to him, Ginny whispered, "Remind me to never tell him that beef comes from cows."

"Chasing Fairies" (Scorpius & Draco, PG, 100 words)

An eight-year-old ran around chasing fairies away from their comfortable perches on the honeysuckles. The boy's cheeks were stung red from the wind, and the face beneath flyaway blond hair was gleeful.

“Be careful with their wings, Scorpius!” Draco called out as his son darted behind a birch tree.

Draco thought their move away from Britain was for the best. He had wanted to give his son a happy childhood sheltered from ugliness.

There were hardly any boys Scorpius' age in this secluded Wizarding community. But surely that's better than being spat on in Diagon Alley for being a Malfoy.

He then proceeded to slump on Harry’s shoulder, unconscious.

:1: Mr Zabini was over the moon when he learned that his wife was pregnant. Blaise was such a beautiful and perfect baby that Mrs Zabini, in a fit of sentimentality, decided not to poison her favourite husband.

Blaise's father died in a hunting accident when Blaise was four.

:2: Blaise loved the gardens on his sprawling family estate--not because of his mother's prized flowers or the trees that bore succulent peaches--but because he loved how the earth smelled after it rained.

He was never one to play in the mud, although he often 'accidentally' kicked mud at the simpering men who paid his mother a visit.

:3: When he was six, Blaise had a pet rabbit that he kept in the gardens. His mother didn’t understand why Blaise wanted a Muggle pet but indulged him nonetheless. Bunny didn't do anything interesting or magical; day in day out it just nibbled on the carrots that Blaise fed to it by hand.

Blaise first met Draco when he attended the Malfoy heir's eighth birthday party. The pale, twitchy boy reminded him of his pet, and he secretly dubbed Draco "Bunny" in his head.

:4: Blaise usually found Draco's habit of parroting his father amusing. When Draco launched into his third rendition of "My Father said Mudbloods should not be allowed into Hogwarts," however, Blaise felt compelled to correct him.

"Mudbloods and Purebloods have the same things flowing in their blood."

Draco stared at him with his mouth open.

"We have nutrients from the food we eat and oxygen from the air we breathe," Blaise explained. "More tea?"

:5: Draco was stunned that Blaise dared to disagree with his father, but quickly shelved it under "Another reason why that Zabini boy is strange."

After plying Draco with strawberry jam tarts, Blaise invited him to view the gardens. He would have suggested an afternoon nap, but he didn't want to deal with a pouting Draco right now.

1. People sometimes accuse me of "gliding." Plebeians. It's a pity that people no longer take deportment lessons.

2. I surreptitiously check my food for poison every time I eat in public. It's this handy little spell that Severus came up with. That boy will go places with his enormous talent. It is to my advantage that nobody else seems to realize this yet.

3. I have different black velvet ribbons for different occasions. Each has a different set of runes and spells woven into the fabric. My dorm mates assumed that I was just being fastidious about my appearance.

4. Whenever I brush against woolen robes, my skin gets...itchy. There's a valid reason why I insist on the highest thread count for my cotton bed sheets at Hogwarts.

5. People sometimes call me Lucifer behind my back. This adds to my fearsome reputation, and it pleases me greatly. Weasley calls me Lucy and for that he must die.

6. I always leave behind some of my favorite dishes. It wouldn't do to make it easy for people to poison me. Furthermore, gluttony is unattractive both for gentlemen and ladies.

7. I love my new snake cane. I have fantasies of whacking squaling Weasley brats with it.

What I wanted to share with you though, is this fantasticrackilicious BoyWhoLived!Draco plotbunny courtesy of ruien, ( in which Lucius raised Draco up to be the next Dark Lord )

So Draco Malfoy was secretly Sirius Black's underage lover, and he was being all angsty in the library of Malfoy Manor because he couldn't see his cousin, who was confined at Grimmauld Place.

In comes Snape with his black robes whipping behind him, telling Draco that "the fool Black" had gone to the Department of Mysteries and fell into the Veil.

Draco shed a perfect teardrop. Snape tried to console him.

Sixth Year happened. Voldemort (who's now all pretty and young again thanks to some awesome elixir Snape brewed up) loved to taunt Draco about Sirius, Lucius and Narcissa.

Seventh Year. War, blah blah blah. Harry was going to hold Draco's wand ransom until Draco would agree to shag him. To his consternation, Draco could not be found anywhere.

One day, Harry was ogling pretty figure skaters on TV when he noticed that the slim French Canadian skater had the same Sectusempra scars that Draco had.

So someone left a rant-y "review" to one of the F-list saying Scorpius/Rose will never happen "because there is too much blood feud between the Weasley and the Malfoy family" (all typed in CAPSLOCK).
Note: the reviewer ships a non-canonical het ship that has been debunked--and meanly laughed at--by Rowling during interviews, so reviewer is not only stupid and rude, but also a hypocrite.

Anyway there was much WTFLOLlery over at said friend's LJ. The comments made me think of Ron/Draco and Scorpius/Rose.

Although I ship H/D, from early on I recognize the parallels between Malfoy/Weasley and Montague/Capulet. (Which is why although Ron does come across as heterosexual to me, I love reading Ron/Draco X-D)

Take away SuperMagical!Harry, and you have your regular schoolboy stand-off between Ron and Draco going:

Ron: "My Dad is better than yours."
Draco: "Oh yeah? well we're richer than you, and your mother's fat."
Ron: "D:< You take that back, ferret!111"
Draco: "Shut up Weasel, you stink!"
Snogging and wall!sex scuffling and fistfight: *ensue*

Plus! Scorpius/Rose totally sounds like the name of a rock band! =D

And Scorpius/Rose can totally exist in the same story as Albus Severus/Scorpius! Because Scorpius has to work out his bisexuality first.
At first Draco grudgingly accepted that Rose is a nice, sensible kid considering who her parents are. Ron wouldn't admit it, but he thinks Scorpius is v. polite considering that he's a Malfoy.

But then their relationship is too sedate because both Scorpius and Rose are serious and calm.
In the meantime, Albus Severus languished in the background for his love that will never be O:

Until one day, Al got drunk and attack-snogged Scorpius!

Scorpius: "WTF mate?!111"
Albus Severus: *snogs again*
Scorpius: *thinks* Hey, this isn't so bad "But what about your cousin and my--Mmmmph..."

Rose gets heart-broken, but then realized her feelings to Scorpius was more of a crush borne out of friendship.

And then we have the first Wizarding gay marriage ever! Harry and Draco become sorta in-laws! >=D Which totally squicks them because they're having a secret affair behind their wives' back because their sons look so much like them.

The site has a series of flash tutorials where a native speaker repeat phrases and words that you hear in everyday conversations. It's v. v. repetitive, which is v. helpful for language retention *g*

The Mandarin Chinese option has 100 lessons, each with 100+ slides. If you roll your mouse over the characters they include the pinyin \o/ Yay for accent/pronunciation correction! \o/
(P.S. The native speakers' accent sounds North but not the uber-harsh Beijing accent, so it's not aggravating.)
I've gone through two lessons in the last 90-120 minutes and forgot to eat breakfast lol.

- this re-surging urge to ship Draco/Charlie (who stayed single = YAYZ \o/),
- this out-of-nowhere urge to ship Scorpius/Louis Weasley (Bill's son) and Scorpius/Lysander Scamander (Luna's son) because those two have the coolest name ever D:

- this urge to write Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy/Rose Weasley JUST BECAUSE.

P.S. In my fanon, Scorpius is younger than Al and Rose though. Score is also born in 2006, like Al and Rose--but he was born on August 31, 2006 *g*. They started attending Hogwarts in 2017. Darn I might need to revise my 20 Things timeline.
