Also, he looks SO YOUNG in that movie.

In other news, even though Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) is a cheap, loli-shota knock-off of Kaori Yuki's Count Cain, I did enjoy the Bengali Prince arc, because no manga is complete without SURPRIZE appearance of South Asian/Middle Eastern/teeny European Kingdom royalty.

Also, can't help but be amused by the American chef (An American chef in a British household? lololol).

Okay, I lie, my fav. character is still the Bengali prince's servant.

He got up and kissed her on the cheek.

"You worry too much, Mother," Draco murmured. "Things will work out, you'll see."

Narcissa grasped her son's hand in hers. "But you are sure this is what you want?"

He looked at her steadily. "Yes, this is what I want. Being with Harry, spending the rest of my life with him, it wasn’t a decision that either of us took lightly. I know it's not what you and Father have in mind for me, but—"

Narcissa's expression softened. "Oh Draco. As long as you're happy, I'll always support your decision."

For the last four days or so, I've been completely engrossed in Manna Francis' Administration series. I stayed up to read until I felt like throwing up (part exhaustion and part hunger), read in the car and got even more carsick, ignored everything else on the Internet...
(Can't remember the last time I'm so addicted to a book that I went with minimum sleep. It might've been Narnia at age 17 actually. Erm.)

I'll post a proper review with fav. quotes, warnings etc. when I get the books from Amazon. There are one novella and one short story that are not available on the author's Web site.
(I'm one of those strange breed of people who almost never buy a book unless I've read it and loved it).

Important (!): since I have many EvilBlondBritishMan!Fetishist in my F-list, I am perversely happy to inform you that Toreth, the main character, is blond. Praise be, etc.

There's that scene where Harry gave Kreacher to Draco in Maya's Quality of Mercy. And today I read that Draco and Dobby scene in lomonaaeren's latest installment of Inter Vivos (H/D, WIP, AU from CoS.)

Here are two H/D fics with lovely imagery. The first one is angsty, but the second one should restore the balance of your emotional make up or some such rot.

1) At first the fic reads like AU or de-aging, but it's not. It's Epilogue-compliant ;_;
And OMG I didn't notice the echoes to The Little Prince when I first read this fic <333 *gibbers*

Summary: Too short a time in paradise.

The spy (a boy who might be younger than Draco, he's so very small) curls up against the tree tightly, his head pressed against his knees with his arms wrapped around his legs, just as Draco had been sitting on his favourite rock. The boy shivers as Draco steps close, dry leaves crackling under his pale feet.

"Who are you?" Draco asks in a low voice, and a small bird with iridescent black and emerald feathers flits right between them, as if in some form of response. The boy tucks into himself even more, his narrow shoulder-blades jutting up out of his back defensively. He has a lot of dark hair; it curls and twists riotous inky splendour, seeming to bristle at Draco as he kneels close.

"Who are you?" Draco repeats and kneels on the cool ground. "What do you want?"

2) If your vision of Draco is furiosity's Draco, you probably won't like this second fic. If jennavere's and enchanted_jae's Draco is your guilty pleasure, you definitely will like this fic. When it seems OoC or AU, just go with the flow and enjoy the ride! The appeal of the fic is the otherworldliness, mmmkay.

Summary: Draco simply loves to be spoiled. So he's decided to try his hand at being a kept boy.
Request: magical books, fairy tales, genderfuckery, mischief, Sexy!Draco and TightLippedSexMachine!Snape.

Most of his customers were powerful, older, married men. They'd sit around and chat, sipping fine vintages of wine or hard liquor, and watch him for hours before picking up an expensive trinket for their wives and fondling the clay jar on the counter as they paid. They liked to dote on and pet him, and Draco didn't mind their propensity to touch; he was used to that sort of attention from his parents, anyway, who still hadn't given up their rights to coddle him. If it were up to them, Draco supposed, he'd still be in frilly white lace robes with bonnets and possibly nursing.

One day, then, as one of his regular customers prepared to go, the man pulled him close, kissed him chastely on the mouth and pinched his toosh. Stiffening, Draco exhaled through flared nostrils and glanced up at the cheeky fellow who'd taken unexpected liberties with his person. The man tipped his hat and said he'd be back on Thursday. Draco nodded numbly. When the man left, his cloak snapping in the high wind, Draco turned back to his other customers, whose eyes gleamed with eagerness and mirth as they beckoned him over.

"Albus Severus, eat your vegetables." Harry forced himself to sound calm.

The six-year-old scrunched up his face at the mangled carrots on his plate.

Next to him, James spooned carrots into his mouth with an exaggerated blissful expression. He then turned large, I'm-such-a-good-son, hazel eyes to his mother.

Albus set down his fork, the corners of his mouth turned down.

"These are from Grandma's garden."

"...yes?"

"I saw her dig out the carrots, roots and all. It's not right!"

Harry thought he'd regret asking, but--"Why is it not right?"

"Well without their roots they’re going to die! We're killing helpless plants just to put them on our plates!"

Next to him, Ginny whispered, "Remind me to never tell him that beef comes from cows."

“Don’t be silly, Pansy,” he said, smoothly guiding her into the next dance pattern. “If I have a fetish for physical abuse, I would have hooked up with Potter ages ago.”

She snorted and couldn’t help chuckling.

Draco grinned and pulled her into a full twirl.

Under the wide brim of his stupid hat, Draco peered at Weasley the eldest. Was that a jibe at his sufferings as a ferret?

Glancing at the shifting sand beneath his feet, he attempted a nonchalant tone. "Girls are boring, too."

When the man said nothing, he looked up, only to catch the sudden gleam in deep blue eyes.

That knowing smile was too much. At least he could blame his flushed cheeks on the heat.
